Imagine you're bantering with random RFK Jr shills when a question arises: Who is more fascistic, Biden or Trump? Are they equally bad? My position is that there is no valid comparison to be made: Trump is far worse; they exist on two different spectra.

However, Martin T. Bishop (Martin Truther ☮ #M4A #GND #Kennedy24) is not so sure. In 2017, Mr. Bishop used Lawrence Britt's 14 identifying characteristics of fascism to assess the fascistic elements of Trump and Trumpism

Mr. Bishop claimed, 'Trump checks all 14 boxes. Biden maybe only 12.' His 2017 article said nothing about Biden, so I asked where that 12 figure came from. He said it was actually an estimate, and he would publish that information in an upcoming article.

Soon came an ~3,000-word rebuttal/article. It contains a lot of criticisms of AI and some stooging for Bob Jr. It can be found here:

Confusingly, he invalidates his Biden-Trump comparison at the outset. He uses means and measures that were not present during his assessment of Trump. Thus ends the short version of this thread: He didn't really post a valid rebuttal. Either have a nice day or keep reading.

Instead of presenting supporting evidence for each of the 14 characteristics as he did with Trump, Mr. Bishop gambles on preposterous sleight-of-hand. First, he employs an actual points system. For example, Biden gets 0.5 points (I'm calling them Fascist Points) on the

Powerful and Continuing Nationalism characteristic. What is the methodology for this points system? None is given. It's based only on the contours of the author's mind.

I suspect this was invented to compensate for the obviously deficient statement, 'Trump checks all 14 boxes. Biden maybe only 12.'

Second, he redefines fascism to mean something like global oligarchical cryptocracy. 'It’s an expression of emergent patterns of multi-national networks of corporations and investment groups that view national governments as mere sock-puppets' - that means fascism now, he says.
