Paris-Saclay Institute of Neuroscience Very sad news. Yves was a national figure for neuroscientists. My thoughts go to his family, friends and colleagues.

Oh no ...RIP Yves...he created a fantastic vibrant department beautifully named "Unité de Neurosciences Information et Complexité"... characteristic of the spirit of interdisciplinary science needed for studying the brain. I was fortunate to spend some formative years there 🕊️

Yves was my PhD supervisor. He has hugely influenced my career, how I think about computational neuroscience and being a scientist in general. This news is very hard to process...

Paris-Saclay Institute of Neuroscience Extremely sad of this news. Yves introduced me to systems neurosciences during my master and we later kept in touch as colleagues. He was an important figure of French neurosciences. He will be missed.

Yves was my PhD advisor and I learned so much from him. You can meet a lot of smart people in academia, but Yves was more than that: he was deep. Whenever he was commenting on papers, talks, or the work of the lab, his insightful remarks always got to the bottom of it. 1/
