Not us, but Gilmour Space are hiring, looking for talented folk to build rockets in Queensland. As of yet they've had few female applicants, so if you know someone who might be interested, feel free to push gspacetech.com/join-us their way @lisaharveysmith Lisa Stojanovski Lants

For anyone who might find themselves in Sydney on the 13th of August, I can solidly recommend the panellists and moderator as being incredibly interesting and knowledgeable people; get yourself a ticket while you can!

Bad luck for the Gilmour team, but it's great to know that no-one was injured, that the fault was identified, that the vehicle failed safe and that repairs and rebuilds can be done quickly for another attempt. This is what good design and practice looks like, good show all!

Tonight is held the #Australianspaceawards as hosted by Space Connect and while I would be joining in person if Adelaide hadn't just begun a lockdown, I would like to offer hearty congratulations and best wishes to all my fellow nominees.

Australia's first astronaut, Dr Philip Chapman, has sadly died. Chapman was in the first generation of US scientist-astronauts in the 1960s. space.nss.org/first-aussie-d… Australian Space Agency

It was great to show everyone what we've been working on with CisLunar Industries and helping to showcase a potential solution to the growing problem of space junk. Thanks for coming by, and we look forward to demonstrating more wonderful things in future!

I'd like to thank the rest of the team at Neumann Space, as I certainly could not have done the work without the support of a strong team of professionals working together
