For those at the Aeromedical Society of Australasia Flight Nurses Aus Aeromed Conf in Adelaide asking about #Ecmo equipment weight, NETS - NSW system is 98kg for stretcher without ECMO (containing built-in power systems, oxygen routing) 116.5kg with ECMO. Water heater is 10kg (free-standing).

Sad to report the death of Dr Fred Gilligan AO OStJ who led the development of medical retrieval in South Australia and a distinguished career at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Fred was a long time member of the Society and its President from 1998 to 2001 & vice president in 2002.
