P5/6 had fun this afternoon looking for bugs in the Jungle. We used the special magnifying equipment to look closely at our crawly friends before we let the go safely again.

Primary 5 have been enjoying taking their reading outside and making use of our reading garden in the nice weather. Our current class novel is Danny the Champion of the World📖

🌳 Muddy Monday!! We were very interested in spiders 🕷️ looking for them in the woods, exploring webs and what they catch 🕸️ looking at spiders of different sizes. And as always jumping and squishing in the mud 💦 eacEarlyYears #exploringnature 🌺

Primary 5 and Primary 6/7 participated in a “Wellbeing Walk” to encourage children to build relationships across classes. Well done to everyone for demonstrating our school values! #CARE

Our Clean Green Representatives met this morning to carry out an environmental review of our school Clean Green East Ayrshire EAC Climate & Sustainable Learning

This afternoon Primary 1 had a visit from PC McCreadie. They had great fun learning about how the police help us and even had a chance to explore a police van. They were so excited about being in the police van that they wanted to make their own! DYW Ayrshire

P2 are learning to write a simple description and on Wednesday morning they had a character description to visualise and guess who it was. As you can hear from the singing they were on the hunt for the Gruffalo. They had great fun finding him! 😃

Primary 4 enjoyed their challenge to build a den for their team, where they could be cosy and relax. They loved playing in The Jungle and getting creative with the materials available
