Trucam speed monitoring was done this afternoon on Park Street and Buggens Lane following requests from local residents due to speeding in the area. Drivers were keeping within the limit today. Thank you. #Fatal5 #WeCare

Due to recent oil price increases, heating oil has also risen in value, leading to a spike in theft offences, nationally. Oil tanks at domestic properties and commercial premises in rural locations have been targetted. Please be vigilant and report suspicious activity to Police.

With good weather, the public are increasing their visits to Parkgate Parade. Be careful where you park, because there are zones where there are double yellow lines and double kerb marks. No one can park there or load their vehicle, even with blue badge. Expect a ticket.

Again a lovely evening in parkgate but visitors are still parking where they shouldn't and were advised to move on. Take careful note of the places you can park and do not park on double yellow. Next time you might be fined or removed.
