On this day in 1952, a four leaf clover was found in the stadium. The team owner said to leave it alone for good luck during the season. One of the players was in the bathroom during this meeting and stepped on the clover. Richmond lost every game that year. Way to go, Brent.

On this day, in 1964, it was the height of Beatlemania. During Richmond’s match, a tipsy spectator mistook another spectator for a Beatle and tackled them. The spectator was actually a middle aged woman. Fran took it in stride, so now we honor her with her photo in our Kit Room.
