Diepbedroefd en verslagen melden wij het overlijden van onze lotgenote Saskia Willems. Sas overleed op 24 mei 2025, amper 43 jaar oud, ze leed al 7 jaar aan de ziekte ME/cvs. We betuigen ons oprechte medeleven aan haar familie, haar naasten en aan al wie haar dierbaar was.

Someone should make a twitter page where we post about the people we lost (in the IACC community) Like 'today X died 3 years ago" "Today we lost Y" I want all their names to have a record and be repeated yearly. No one should ever be forgotten. Should I make it?

Sas helped create Not Recovered Belgium. I'm sure she would like you to follow their page. She really did so much for the community until her last day. She knew she was going to die and she still cared so much about everyone she left behind 💔

Met deze lieve dame die heel veel betekend heeft voor dergelijke aandoeningen hadden we contact over o.a. de aanpak van hulp voor mensen met de ziekte. Geen woorden voor dit grote verlies! Sterkte aan allen die Sas gekend hebben. We zijn haar en haar medepatiënten dankbaar. ❤️

I can only listen to music a couple of times a year and very quietly. I can never decide which songs I want to listen to in so little time, so I usually end up listening to every song for like 20 seconds. It's a trip down memory lane. I want them all ♡

Last Saturday two #pwME passed away. Evette and Sas🕯💔 So many people with #MEcfs die in our small community. And those are only the ones we know of.
