Terrific opening talk at the ECFG17 by Ken Wolfe showing how killer toxins on viral like elements armed with a chitinase, an immunity factor and a tRNA specific endonuclease drove nuclear CTG codon reassignments that are unique to various yeast groups. ⁦ECFG17 - 17 European Conference on Fungal Genetics
