North East Heritage Library Great venue saw early Nirvana,Faith no More and Oasis there..Oasis gig was cut short when some guy jumped on stage and punched Noel in the face.

North East Heritage Library Saw many bands there, Lemonheads, Soup Dragons, Spearhead, Blur, Spiritualized, Happy Mondays and many more small indie bands. The ceiling would drip sweat it got so hot and sticky. Loved it.

North East Heritage Library Best venue in the country in its day, bliss/scarlet weasel were great nights, bar was cheap too, saw hundreds of bands there.

North East Heritage Library Yes! The funniest graffiti I ever saw. In cultured and slightly apologetic writing, on the wall of the Gents in the late 90’s. ‘I know this isn’t terribly PC, but “World Music”, it isn’t very good, is it?’
