It was a pleasure to be on Monocle Radio from Beirut this morning, discussing the alarming escalation in the Middle East with Georgina Godwin and Negin Shiraghaei

During yesterday’s FCDO questions I raised the case of Jimmy Lai, Jagtar Singh Johal, Ryan Cornelius and Alaa Abdel el-Fattah, urging the Government to bring forward its Special Envoy for Arbitrary Detention as promised, and get our people home.

دوسال پیش در چنین روزی ، کوله بار خود را بست و این دنیای سراسر رنگ و ریا را غریبانه بدرود گفت . حالا دو سال است که در آرامگاهت آرام گرفته ای و دیگر نشانه‌ای از آن همه نشاط وجودت ، در زندگی ما نیست . رفته ای و این غم را پایانی نیست .

چند صدای پشت هم شبیه انفجار آمد. من حوالی هفت‌تیرم. دوستانی ساکن شریعتی، سعادت‌آباد و ونک هم نوشته‌اند که صداها را شنیده‌اند.

برای چک کردن درستی عکس‌ها خیلی سریع می‌تونید روی اپ گوگل با تصویر جستجو کنید. خیلی از این تصاویر جعلی رو می‌تونید تشخیص بدید. از موتورهای جستجوگر دیگه (معمولا بیش از دو موتور جستجو) هم استفاده کنید که بهتر. اینطوری از سرعت گسترش خبرهای جعلی در بحبهه اتفاقات مهم کم می‌کنید.
