After many emails, social media posts, and occasionally even documents peppered with out of context words, I have turned off autocorrect system-wide on my MacBook. Back to the old days where misspelled word are underlined and I get to choose the correct word.

For J Neurosci, JCN and EJN, per scimago the total number of articles, total citation count, cites per article are nosediving like crazy since 2011. Is traditional neuroscience, and free or relatively cheap to publish journals are dead?
