The Spanish government has made short and medium train journeys free in order to help with the cost-of-living emergency. Let’s fight for our Government to do the same.

When it comes to pay, and its effect on inflation, why does the public debate always focus on the wages of those in the bottom 50% and never on those in the top 50%?

Home Secretary Priti Patel says “it’s not correct there are fewer police officers” & “2010 is the wrong benchmark to use” Imagine her shock when she finds out her party has been in power since 2010! They really do think we are all thick

This is what happens when you get a Rob Rinder or Martin Lewis on. Someone with real knowledge in the field. A great explanation of why barristers are striking & why legal aid is a cornerstone of our democracy.

A huge thank you to Hartington Village Hall for inviting SCAMWhere? to present a scam awareness talk. Telephone scams were a particular issue (Amazon and Bank cold calls) and everyone took away some scam awareness information. The sheer enormity of the #EnergyCrisis has hit home today. The solutions? Cut the cap to last October's level, reinstate & double UC uplift, adopt emergency retrofit revolution to insulate homes. The Govt response? Radio silence Me for BusinessGreen 👇 businessgreen.com/opinion/405538…

£170 billion in energy company profits in the next two years – but still Liz Truss says no to increasing #windfalltax on these obscene sums. Protecting energy giants & instead making some of the poorest pay for this #EnergyCrisis is quite simply immoral

How to destroy the NHS: Step 1. Run it into the ground with austerity. Step 2. Exploit the crisis to empower the private sector. Step 3. Abolish the principle of universal health care. End privatisation, support striking workers and save our NHS.

These three pension changes will cost more than £1bn a year and the money will go principally to higher rate taxpayers who have bigger pensions already than most people can dream of. Most in auto-enrolment will be lucky to have £60,000 in their pot after a lifteime!
