All-Pro & Pro Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey agreed to terms on contract extension with Miami Dolphins that makes him NFL’s highest paid CB on new AAV, sources tell me & Ian Rapoport. Ramsey now gets 3-year, $72.3 million deal done by David Mulugheta of Athletes First. Miami Money SZN.

The 3-year, $72.3M extension that includes $55.3M guaranteed was agreed to a couple days ago, but Ramsey wanted to wait until he was back on the field to release it. Safe to say he'll be at practice today.

I had shared with some this was coming. Pat Surtain deal threw a snag, but Chris Grier made it happen!

So Chris Grier has signed Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Mike McDaniel, and now Jalen Ramsey during the same timeline the Jets acquired Hasson Reddick and haven’t been able to get a deal done.

We’re going to see the real Jalen Ramsey unlocked this season. He is far more than just a boundary cornerback. Let’s go!
