For Week 4 of National 9-1-1 Education Month, we’re highlighting an important option: Text-to-9-1-1. Remember: Not all areas in the U.S. support Text-to-9-1-1. Check with your local emergency call center to see if this service is available near you. #911ReadyTX

Did you know that in some areas, you can now contact 9-1-1 via satellite when you don’t have cell service? 🌍 This new technology is still rolling out and isn’t available everywhere, but it’s a big step forward for emergency response.
