The combined SG OVT program did some awesome work at the Annual ASA Conference in Baltimore. 8 presentations...1 poster...and one amazing symposium organized by Angela Post. It was good to share the work we've been doing with everyone! NC State Crop & Soil Sciences NC State Extension

Corn silage is harvested, general corn notes have started (3 of 11 sites complete), and corn harvest starts next week near Lumberton. The next 3 months are one of our busiest times of year, particularly with 35 locations of corn, soybeans, and new wheat trials to tend to.

First corn location of 2024 harvested (Robeson Co). Averaged 120bu with spots as low as 40 (field effects). Also first combine breakdowns of corn harvest, one before we even started and one in the field. It's amazing how quickly I find myself with only 1 operational combine left
