Please clarify ASAP, hfxgov. Police dispatch tells me the upper/mid Sackville communities are not on their list for evacuation “yet,” but I “should be preparing.” Are those communities on the map as a proactive measure to get people moving? Or is this a mistake?

Then hfxgov needs to clarify that right now. The map is currently labelled - in two different places - as "evacuated area."

An updated and more accurate evacuated map is now on the hfxgov website. Accurate at least as far as the east side of the 101 is concerned.
