This week’s North Carolina Cyber Academy Student Spotlight focuses on a series of awesome projects completed by some of our Elementary School students, including fifth graders Aurora Michelli, Gwendolyn Dougherty, Yuja Fernando, and Siya Ganesh, among others!

Earlier this school year, Mrs. Bunch’s Science students at the NC Cyber Elementary School completed some interesting experiments as they examined “Matter in My World.”

Some students engaged in projects with basic solutions that create a chemical reaction to cause expansion in a balloon, while other students examined the phenomenon of making an old penny look shiny again! Others got creative and created personas, such as Matter Man!
