NC is #37 in pre-K enrollment. Early education is proven to boost graduation rates, college attendance, and workforce skills. If we want to compete tomorrow, we have to invest today.

Whoa, didn’t realize every NC election in the last 20 years was decided by one vote. 🤔 There’s a difference between “fraud is rare & not outcome-changing” and “no fraud ever.” Meanwhile, Trump actually tried to nullify every vote in 2020—with zero evidence and Pat’s support.

NC ranks #24 in U6, which tracks unemployment, involuntary part-time work, and discouraged workers. Sustainable growth demands that we better match workforce skills with business needs. We’re not doing bad but we can do better.

NC ranks #42 in median household income. Sustainable growth requires an economy that lifts everyone—and right now, too many North Carolinians are being left behind.

Before Obamacare (2000–2010), the CPI medical care price index rose 4% per year. Since Obamacare (2010–today), it's risen just 2.7% per year. Does the ACA deserve credit? Idk. But saying it's "devastated healthcare" and caused massive price increases is very unserious.

“Relax, everyone. Medicaid’s only going bankrupt in six months. And sure, we’re four months late passing a budget and taking the rest of the year off. But don’t worry — we’ve got it totally under control. Trust us.” 🙄

This is a long word salad from the guy leading the push to cut the ACA. What’s missing? Any explanation for why, if the ACA is so bad, 25 million more Americans have coverage and health insurance inflation fell after the ACA passed.

OPINION | North Carolina deserves a functional General Assembly. As NC enters the second quarter of its fiscal year, it remains one of just two states in the nation without a comprehensive budget bill. #ncga #ncpol carolinajournal.com/opinion/north-…

The reason he looks at trends, instead of the actual cost of ACA plans vs employer plans is because ACA plans are 20% CHEAPER. That wouldn't fit his narrative. ACA Plan Premiums: $7500 per Year Employer Plan Premiums: $9325 per Year

None of the attacks on Obamacare even bother to dispute these 3 key facts. 1. 26 Million More People Are Now Insured 2. Obamacare Plans Are Cheaper than Employer Plans 3. Employer Insurance Inflation Has Plummeted

False. All you had to do was make it to page 3 of this report to see that’s not true. NC’s most vulnerable populations (kids, elderly and the disabled) are going to suffer because you’d rather lie than admit you chose to underfund Medicaid for no reason.

Remember that this data they present to suggest Obamacare isn't working also shows that these Obamacare plans are CHEAPER than the average employer plan.

Some basic math. HR1 cuts $1 trillion in Medicaid per decade. 40% of that is in rural areas so that's $400 billion of cuts to rural hospitals every 10 years. Explain how a one-time $50 billion fund offsets that...
