Apple’s strategy for AI is on device Very different than the other major players Will be interesting to see how this plays out

The new Phone app adds 2 features I loved on Pixel: Call screening (though automatically instead of manually) and Hold assist

Biggest WWDC takeaway so far: Apple’s software innovation relays on their best-in-class hardware ecosystem They don’t have the leading AI model right now — so the real bet is whether pairing world-class hardware with ChatGPT is enough to keep them ahead

Apple’s bet is making the best hardware & software that connects it all They don’t have anything that competes with Notebook LM or 4o for example Instead, they create the devices incredible AI runs on With OpenAI launching hardware, that’s an interesting strategy
