A1) Every start to the year I live for helping to create a video that asks colleagues and admin to share their voices in their own unique ways to pump them up, have fun, and share the message that they are here for their students and each other. #LeadLAP

A1) fav back to school PD -admin understood the importance of time to prepare for students but also the importance of staff connection. Scavenger hunt combining getting to know each other, healthy competition, team work, laughter, and touring the building was the best. #leadlap

A1) I also think it’s a great time of year to ask colleagues what they can leave room for in their classrooms that students can do and own.#leadlap

A2) interested in how anyone might include students in staff meetings. We have invited them to kick off meetings, co-lead a workshop, etc, but just wondering how others might be including their voices in a staff meeting setting -always looking for more ideas:). #leadlap

A1) a tradition that I absolutely love in one of the buildings where I work is on the very first day of school all staff line up at drop off, holding signs with unique messages that all students and families belong. It’s amazing. #LeadLAP

A2: We all do fantastic opening day events for our Ss and Ps, but what are some things you do to make the first day memorable for those students who start after the first day? I'm looking for ideas. #leadlap

Honored to have a post featured here. Thank you Defined. I loved my time as a 4th grade teacher and this crew of students taught me so much. A colleague shared this brilliant idea and I'm so happy I followed through with it. #LeadLAP #tlap #learnlap

A2) sorry just jumping in. There are so many students and staff members in the building. If we don’t ask them to use their voices we will never get a true pulse of our school, hear the stories of others, and grow and lead together a place people want to be a part of #leadlap
