I've been seeing some posts from well-intentioned faculty about eliminating all deadlines in their classes. I study #ExecutiveFunction, #stress and #mentalhealth in college #students, and I'm here to tell you this will hurt the students you are trying to help. . . 1/buckle up

I want to encourage people who are slowly but surely changing systems. You may not see immediate fruit, but know that seeds are being planted. They will grow in due season. You have to believe that your work is not in vain, otherwise, why would you do what you do?

⛔️ STOP scheduling back to back meetings! ✋ Science now proves that it is bad for our stress levels and contributes to burnout. Put breaks in between meetings. Your health and productivity will be boosted. Ban back to back meetings in your organisation. ❌

Question for higher ed faculty.... I was given advice that it is helpful to have student feedback from students who have volunteered or worked with me on research for P&T. What format and information would be helpful to capture? I would love to hear what you have done.#HigherEd

The number of displaced people surges again. That means more #Newcomers. Please challenge yourself to think: "I wonder what gifts they bring? What can we do to make them comfortable and to help them thrive here?" #BoostingAchievement

Very grateful to have support through an internal grant for this passion project. Your child does NOT need to have been identified at the time of the expulsion/withdrawal. Link to survey to indicate interest in first comment!

Every 5 rejections I give myself an indulgent prize - I prefer prizes that last longer so I can appreciate them beyond the sad rejection feelings. Fancy pjs, skincare, etc. I add an extra prize for rejections that sting more. I change my prize:rejection ratio as needed (2/5)
