Today I’m in #Chattogram, the port city and original business hub of Bangladesh. I’ll be seeing British investments and partnerships in the city and meeting officials and business leaders to discuss how we can continue to strengthen the #BritBanglaBondhon.

The Unilever Bangladesh factory in Chattogram is a fantastic example of UK foreign direct investment bringing jobs, technology and innovation to Bangladesh. I also learned about the company’s focus on environmental sustainability and social development.

This morning I visited the Chittagong Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery Commonwealth War Graves to lay a wreath and pay my respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We will remember them. #LestWeForget
