Today we had a Trainee Nursing Associate simulated session on peer support- a really vital area within our organisation. The session was informative and engaging and we all learnt a lot. Great discussion and great involvement! Thank you peer support team!

Today I visited TNA, Charlie Taylor on phoenix CAMHS Ward! The photo shows Charlie, with Charlotte (qualified Nursing Associate), Chifundo (registered nurse who progressed via the TNA route) & siobhan: supportive ward manager! It was great to see Charlie happy in his new workbase

A catch up with TNA Cat Allen from Coral Ward at Rampton (Derby uni) Cat is doing so well and it is great to see her confidence develop! She is evidently valued by the patients and other staff on the ward! Raff is another fabulousTNA (NTU) based on Emerald Ward on the photograph

Today I visited NTU TNA Sade Hooper on Amber ward (Kingfisher Ward) who continues to develop her skills + deliver compassionate holistic nursing care. Luckily we came across Nursing Associate Daniel Sheldon who is back at uni doing his progression. Quality Nursing 🌟

Today we were invited to the NTUNursing trainee nursing associate (Jan 2022 cohort) last day! What a journey these trainees have been on and should be all so proud of themselves. everyone from the practice learning team wish you all the luck on your new career path!

On Tuesday, Ifti Majid shadowed me on redwood 2 providing a mini teaching session to some learners within Nottinghamshire Healthcare. We had a great mini session and it was fantastic to hear how keen Ifti is to hear student feedback and support our learners!
