What causes #tailbonepain? There can be a number of different causes so it is important to have a proper exam to determine why & where the pain is coming from. A common cause is direct impact or a fall directly onto the #tailbone e.g. a slip on ice landing on your bum… OUCH! šŸ¤•

Top tips to minimise #tailbone pain: •When sitting, try to sit tall & avoid slumping backwards which puts more pressure on your tailbone. •Avoid sitting for long periods (no more than 45 minutes at a time). •Stretch whenever possible. #coccyx #coccyxpain #healthtips #recovery

I updated my #CPR & #AED training over the weekend. Without fail I always pick up some extra little piece of info… this time I learnt that women’s hearts are slightly more posterior (to the back) than men’s. This may mean slightly deeper compressions are suitable for a woman.
