Yesterday KS1 were lucky to have been visited by author Natalie Pritchard She read her book ‘Monty the Manatee’ with us, which is all about anti-bullying and believing in yourself. Children then performed a special sea school shuffle song and became authors themselves🐬🐠🐳

What an amazing start back to school! Today saw the official opening of our brand new library. Best-selling author, Natalie Pritchard, was joined by two local councillors, the Express and Star newspaper and a school governor to declare our library open for reading! 📚 📕

Today in PSHE, we thought about being kind to one another. We read Monty the Manatee and then looked at these two apples! We talked about how our words might not look like they are hurting someone, but inside, they aren’t happy! #willowclassfamily 🍏
