Since 4/21? Buying Qs same return (if not a touch more depending time of day). Greater return trying to buy the dip on bitcoin, and according to this no positive inflows during that opportunity. This makes me even less interested in BTC (and the ETFs) personally.

Initial thoughts on the US-UK trade deal -- First, this is a very small deal. Most of the new US tariffs remain. Most of the restrictions on US exports to the UK (which are modest) remain. Not much changes ... 1/

unsure how to express correctly, but crypto gets far more attention than it deserves imo. incredible opportunities for trading (even crypto indirectly) that involve far lower fees, less exchange risk, etc. sell-side, advertising dominating through attention. touch grass

I know very little about Chinese organized crime, but i'm very curious to see what is said to the media on the fentanyl issue. Wonder how much those talks are dancing around Western Pacific issues.

Still feels a bit like the Tiktok-ification of personal finance. AI could really help these customers step through examples of credit and loans to make a better decision, though. businesswire.com/news/home/2025

Oh come on, there's no rift. None of this matters to Republicans whatsoever. Norms or guiding principles in governance haven't been important for them for decades now. Voters don't care. They simply want their football team to win the election. theatlantic.com/politics/archi

Why fight degen leverage? Surely wait until NVDA earnings to short tech/crypto. It's clear bulls will throw anything they can find at this stuff until everything breaks. They've already been doing this in PLTR and quantum computing. Nobody cares what any of it is "worth".

I'm in the business of low-information retail trading just like Nvidia and Broadcom are in the business of classical GPUs. I believe I will be the Nvidia player. There will be other traders that copy me and follow me; they have always copied and followed me.

In their 3rd year our maths students get to choose from a range of courses including Chris Hollings' History of Mathematics. We're showing two lectures from the course as Chris time travels the history of algebra, classical to modern. Here's the first: youtu.be/L_wNqJRyUcc

Still seems a bit high to me for USA. Would be wildly different in Japan/S. Korea. Breakdown of use for "preferred by recipient" also pretty hilarious. Wish it had demographics. I'd bet "any use" for 25 and under as well as 50 and older is nearly zero.

Oh great centralized database of sensitive information on Americans. What could possibly go wrong. BTW the US govt can seize and keep your bitcoin now. nytimes.com/2025/05/30/tec

We’ve seen it before, but not quite like this! Webb observed the iconic Sombrero galaxy in near-infrared light for the first time, showing dust from the galaxy’s outer ring blocking stellar light from within. In the central region, roughly 2,000 globular clusters glow.
