🎚️ Tune your vocals right
If you have multiple vocal tracks and you want to apply autotune, make sure you put the plugin on every track rather than on a bus
It will work wrong on multiple sources at once.

⚙️ SSL X-DynEQ
Nah this is wild now…
• Piano Roll View

• Per Band dynamic sidechaining
And more.

🎚️ Markers are important for me
Always create markers when mixing a song. Not only it helps to navigate a session, it helps me to easily create automations for different parts of the song.
I always see the timeline, and I can easily create automations for anything.

🎚️ Add excitement to vocals in the hook
You can try automating the high frequency shelf with analog modeled EQ, slightly increasing the high end only during the hook
Giving some extra excitement and movement to your song.

⚙️ Slate Infinity Bass
It almost feels like a cheat code when mixing bass or kick with it. I get deep, rich and punchy low end within minutes.
Together with UAD Oxide Tape, and some dope compressor (for example my favorite Neve 33609), the low end is supreme.

It doesn't matter if you bought or demoed the plugin.
First thing you should do is open the manual.
Seriously. It's free knowledge about your tools.
Knowing them very well is essential.
