Art is always the final layer of a space. It’s also one of the most collaborative aspects of our work, as many clients already have an established collection. It’s deeply personal, and a way to make a home truly your own.

As someone who loves a well-organized home (#triplevirgo), I always prioritize closet solutions that are not only functional but also really handsome.

When the Leonard Steinberg team approached me about The Katharine, I jumped at the chance to be a part of this historic project in Greenwich Village, a place that I have called home and that has inspired me for years.

Answering some of your questions about marble. What else are you curious about?

My week so far.

I’ve always found the space to use a bit of black leather in my projects for as long as I can remember. It’s a perfect modern dose in a room filled with classic pieces. It’s a material that feels classic and modern, regardless of era or style.

How are you 10? Someone told us once we have three phases with you, 0-6, 6-12,12-18 years. We made it to the middle of phase 2, and I cherish every moment being your dad. We love you Pops, may this year be the brightest one yet, our young lady.

It usually starts with history for me. At The Katharine, my goal was to create something connected to Greenwich Village’s architectural past. Diving into the building’s history and its original details inspired so many of the design decisions.
