Buying real estate for the fees is a short game. I’ve seen too many people chase upfront money and ignore the long-term value. Fees disappear. Equity compounds. You don’t build wealth by stacking transactions — you build it by owning assets and improving them year after year.

This is why I chose real estate.

Our property manager just added $40k in value to one of our apartment complexes without us even asking. He renegotiated our dumpster service saving us $200/month. That's $2,400/yr. At a 6% cap rate: $2400/.06 = $40k This is the value of having a great property manager.

Time to buy more real estate.
