Did you know even though average adult glioblastoma (#GBM) survival is 1-2 years, average congenital GBM (born with it) survival is 5+ years?? Happy to share this intriguing finding through Journal of Neurosurgery (doi.org/10.3171/2020.5…). Now just need to figure out why!

There are many elements that make a great surgeon but none greater than empathy. Empathy should lace every briefing, every cut, every micro stitch and every micro puncture. There are no “cases” there are human beings.
