Nottingham hospitals apologise after families report experiencing racism in maternity services. The Nottingham University Hospitals trust (NUH) has published a response to Donna Ockenden's latest feedback letter alongside her concerns on its website.

NEW-70 families who may have experienced avoidable maternity harm at Nottingham University Hospitals are expected to be contacted over the coming weeks by Independent Maternity Review NUH Trust. To date, there are 1,813 families in the review chaired by Donna Ockenden FRSA, Hon DLitt

The Nottingham Maternity review looking at failings at the city's two maternity units now set to examine 1813 cases ( Stillbirths, neonatal deaths, injured babies, maternal death and harm )
720 staff have contacted the review
399 maternity experiences to be included.

How has 1 year passed since the start of the review.....
How has it been 4 years since Kouper tragically died.
How much longer will we have to wait until the trust admit their failings

What a bold statement to make...... seriously would like to know how they have made this decision....

Its never easy even r years on from Kouper's death. But 1 year into the Donna Ockenden FRSA, Hon DLitt review and we finally have faith that we are being listened too xxx
