This morning in our reading lesson, the children were practising their inference skills by thinking about Lucy’s character in ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’ and how she is both lucky and unlucky when she first arrives in Narnia. The children found great examples of both!

This afternoon, the children had to follow a recipe to make fairy cakes using ‘flour’ as the main ingredient as part of our Seasonal Food DT topic. It was a bit of a rush to get all groups’ bakes cooked and decorated, but we just managed it. Let’s hope they taste good.

Continuing our ‘Seasonal Food’ DT topic, we have been busy making jam tarts today. They got a big thumbs up from the class.
