Fuel in Angola costs 300 Angolan Kwanza. Per litre, that’s; a) 6 Zambian Kwacha b) 3 Bots Pula c) 5 Namibian Dollar d) 32 Zim ZiG e) 5 SA Rands But as Africans, we buy fuel from Middle East & never thought to build refineries in Angola. Now the Iran war will teach us !!

I believe that between 2001 and 2003, the US, led by George W. Bush, wanted to attack Zimbabwe. They wanted to use Botswana as a springboard. The late Rre Merafhe spoke about it and condemned it. Thabo Mbeki pleaded with Washington, and they listened.

I agree with this statement… My point is it doesn’t make sense in a country where ‘healthcare is free’, supposedly paid for by government, gore someone die from a medicine costing P350 🥺 Surely government can… Legale 🤷🏾‍♀️

That's the culture ya UDC. You should listen to their MPs when they speak and also their actions. They are very dismissive of us as voters.... 🤞🏿

Ngakaagae was vocal and adamant. He consistently argued that the transactions were legitimate procurement processes. I would love to see him reinstate charges tied to how Setlhoa land was acquired

Those the people who actually Voted for the BDP in 2024, remember that BDP has the second highest popular vote in the last elections though having only 4 MPs. After elections they were lying bare ba thophile UDC, they now have the courage to come out of the closet.

I’m really rooting for BDC to take on the Botswana Ignite Project. Now that would be an investment. Scar needs to interview graduates of that program waitse. Something for VOD not TV or Radio so everybody is afforded a chance to be informed.

Le akanya thata. There are actually people who "enjoyed" the BDP regime - ordinary Batswana who don't have any political connections and so, didn't benefit from corruption: ba e leng gore dilo di ba tsamaetse hela sente from start to finish. To deny that ke go iphora.

Bontsi jwa rona re ne re le mo leshekereng, but bontsi jwa batho ba ne ba le mo letlepung and the rest were in limbo. The same is true currently. Some people looking back fondly the Era of the Jack shouldn't shock anyone, at least not this much...
