Do we read God’s Word to prove the thoughts we bring to the text? Or do we let the text shape our thoughts we will then apply to our lives? If God’s Word isn't leading our thoughts, we're at risk for taking verses out of their intended context and applying them incorrectly.

Whatever God wants us to do, He takes responsibility for providing for it to be done.

What a gift it is to have breath in our lungs & a new year to soak in. Lam 3:24 says “The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him.” If God is our portion, there’s nothing too big...not a problem, fear, health crisis, or financial struggle. #myhopeisinHim
