We tested the Omixon NanoTYPE HLA typing kit on PromethION. A sample with 100k reads took ~7m to analyze with the NanoTyper tool. Results look good, easy to interpret with many details. Could benefit from better confidence score in report than 🟢🌕🔴 & less complex than this:

Some lovely direct RNA sequencing runs generated by nanopore.ca last week: 5-7M reads passing base calling per sample, which were washed and reloaded once. Best part was that the user's main hypothesis was confirmed during the sequencing run via real-time analysis 🙌🏻
