In which fraser and I really take to heart, "things we are actually talking about in the hallways". I got a little excited about my backpack, which, no really, it's the best. open.spotify.com/episode/2nzyBm…

Surprisingly, could not find a single AI tool that could do this relatively basic research task. (1) Search YouTube for videos on topic X (2) Identify top 10 most viewed on topic X (3) Identify the YouTube channel associated, and the total number of subscribers (4) Calculate

This is what a well run, successfully Series A process looks like. It's hard to internalize just how much rejection is required, and how much of that rejection is silent, not explicit.

Kevin Kwok Low trust environments engender funky deal structures, which is why real estate people love a funky deal. Tech has trended the opposite for 40 years, simpler deals, higher trust, make the pie bigger. That is, until the last few years. I'm not commenting on a specific deal, but

Google released Opal. Interesting experiment in the "AI apps workflow builder" category, even if I'm pretty sure I never want to see another node-based graph in my life. unfortunately.. Opal (or me?) seemed to be rate limited within 3 minutes. TPUs be tough.

Just a fan of the product, but Kevin Smith consistently ships great stuff. Snipd is such a good example of just iterating on "what could AI do for our users" over and over again. And he's lapping every other podcast player in great features because of it.

This product is pretty great example of "open world AI" interfaces. Andrew Mason was the first person I know that used the term open world in this context, the kind of agentic, deep tool calling, truly expressive controls. I asked Producer to build a visualizer for the music

Started as a thought experiment: what if AI could help manage our impractical idea for a new kind of place for playing board games in Berkeley? Probability of success: murky. Hours available: minimal. Of course AI was like "that's a great idea" 🫣 So me, Andrew Mason and a

Honestly, Granola is one of the best AI tools out there. I forget absolutely everything, so having it take notes during calls and meetings and store them for later is genuinely life-changing 😁

I don't know what your inboxes look like, but the AI writers have rendered my inbox remarkably useless at this point. What are folks using? Feels like we need a new Postini for this era.

I’m in Gaza today visiting our @wckitchen team. I see so much courage in their faces, serving hope in the face of so much pain. Our kitchens are cooking, our fires are lit…but we must do more to help the families that are starving. WCK is prepared to scale to 1 million meals
