It would be reasonable to claim that Tongwynlais is now poppy capital of Wales and the UK. They're everywhere. Adding genuine resonance is the fact that organisers have dedicated each poppy to a local who made the ultimate sacrifice. What a lovely thing to do. #RemembranceDay

SUNDAY CLWB We will be heading out nice early on Sunday morning for a lush run around Forest Farm. We like to get one in here per season and this Sunday is the one. All are welcome to join for an easy paced run. There will be light trails but roadies will be all good.

Roger L Brown published “The Lewis’ of Greenmeadow” in 1984. He was the vicar of St Michael’s Church from 1979 to 1993 and a keen historian. Greenmeadow House was eventually demolished in 1945. tongwynlais.com/2024/11/24/the… #TonHistory #CardiffHistory #LocalHistory
