After 2 weeks of study leave in Tarawa, it's good to come to Christmas island for a change in scenery 🤩 We arrived at our accommodation & there was a power outage. Back up generator finally came on this evening & now connected to Starlink WiFi 😁

Former Captain Cook Hotel on Main Camp now Christmas Island Lodge. This used to be our accommodation for the 1st few years of operations in Christmas Island 🇰🇮 Lots of memories. BBQ on the beach. Land crabs galore. Fishing on the beach 🤩⛱️
