We can be in the same place, & not really be there together at all. The same things are shared with us, yet we see & hear them in very different ways. Some of that's to do with where we come from, who we are. Some of it's what we are ready to feel, choose to see, want to hear...

I love this ⁦West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership⁩ vision because it starts with the person & where they live - not the organisation or illness. The new workforce plan could do the same & can’t just be NHS. Integrated teams of public servants inc social care to deliver this vision would be great

The complexity of nursing is hidden (often by nurses). Nurses contribution to patient safety is evidenced in over 1,000 papers & yet there is still a demand for more research - how do we help nurse leaders articulate that we don’t need more papers ? Introduction to system leadership and change from Myron Rogers LCH NHS Trust clinical conference. The importance of culture, structure and process in creating safe services. People are messy and organisations need to change to constantly survive.

To share thoughts and feelings, however incomplete they may be, and to feel heard. To stay in that unfolding space, even though - especially when - our views & experiences may differ. Here's where the potential lies for generative connections, mutual learning. And hope.

Myron Rogers a treat arrived today. I’m on read 2 and a bit some pages, like 86 are on to double figures. “Clear at their core, curious about their future, these organizations develop expansionary range.” 🙏

Good intentions count for little, what matters is how our intentions play out in the lives of the ppl who have to live with the impacts of our policies/programs/services etc. Hence why we should be measuring ppl’s quality of life-incl interdependence-not the quality of programs.

Opening keynote by Myron Rogers former Chair of the Lankelly Chase Foundation. Keen to stress disbursal of £100m+ is not a ‘spend down’ but a rethinking of what #philanthropy is or should be. Institutions are part of the problem, separateness of sector is flawed #TrusteeExchange

Lots to reflect on from State of Sector panel discussion at #TrusteeExchange inc challenges of resource squeeze, participation in its proper sense & inc scrutiny on ESG. Umbrella bodies vital. Collaboration cited as opportunity but Myron Rogers would argue for ‘entanglement’.
