Did a VO2 max test today as a 2-year checkup. I got to use the VO2 Master device (Peter Attia uses this thing all the time). Absolutely dominated it. 54.2 mL/kg That’s 98th percentile for 40-49 year olds. Call it what you want. I worked my ass off for it. Can’t stop now!

I get it. You don’t like metal. Try it anyway. And, listen to the lyrics. You might be surprised at what you hear. open.spotify.com/track/08L6h3Ih…

The first pair of Lincoln Boots just walked out of our Maine factory. This is more than a boot. This is the return of bootmaking to Franklin County. Three miles from here sit the bones of the old Bass factory. We’re not visiting history. We’re rebuilding it. Maine is back. LFG.

Yesterday, I went live to shift your focus from shaky with AI to excited to figure it out. Check it out on LinkedIn (still figuring out X/youtube cross posting). Transcript and summary on its way: linkedin.com/events/let-sfi…

My only advice to CEOs this year.. Hire tinkerers. Make it high status. Find ones that will explore the edges and (ideally) naturally gifted at teaching people. Empower them to freely roam across the org and fix large problems that can be automated. All your execs will

AI was supposed to make us more productive and save us time.. What I didn’t account for is HOW much more it’ll enable us to do. I have personally never been more excited, exhilarated and tired in my life. It’s truly the greatest amplification engine - I worry the gap between

I missed pro wrestling. It came down to too many shows to keep up with. I wanted to prioritize which replays I caught (fast forwarding is a must. Can’t burn 12 hours a week watching live shows.) So, I made this app called WrestleDeck to keep on top of it all. Showtimes, news,

Modern Metal Mills Zane Hengsperger Reindustrializing the U.S. isn’t just about labor or geopolitics—metal mills are slow because they run on outdated systems. Modern software creates an opportunity for mills to cut lead times and costs while improving flexibility and margins.

Everyone is soon going to a) rediscover how to be a maker again or risk losing their job while b) simultaneously learning how to be a manager of agents or risk losing their productivity Wild times 🕺

41 today. Squatted 325 for reps yesterday. Deadlifted 405 for reps Friday. VO2 max is 54.4 mL/kg/min. Making things I care about. Enjoying people I love. Learning every day. Life is great. Thank you. 🙏

I've been dreaming of ways to replace pixel-pushing since 2018. At the time, it felt like pure fantasy. Now, it's the norm. I couldn't be happier. Honestly? The time I spent getting the pixels right was time I couldn't spend figuring out the actual product. Who needs this?

The world belongs to tinkerers. For years I've played with game prototypes, apps, mods, even little design exercises. Tinkering. Fun stuff. I can do 100x more now. I built an app in 2hrs for a tabletop game I love (Fast Drive Football, for the curious). Be a tinkerer.

It's like real-life "Civ syndrome" IYKYK. Just. One. More. Prompt (turn). And, now my sleep is f'd. Gotta keep it dialed in.

I couldn’t wait to find a way to not have to manually push pixels and boxes. It was the one vector of constant annoyance and micromanagement that was completely unnecessary and distracting. No, CEO, you do not need to wonder why the corners are 9px rounded and not 10px like

AI blasted this opinion to smithereens. It's cheap enough, if you can dedicate the communication resources, to maintain subversions of your platform for your megaclients. You don't have to move the whole system to please the few. You might keep some around with this attitude.
