meetings on remote teams are hard. we get caught between two conflicting feelings: 1. “I don’t like meetings” 2. “I feel disconnected from my team” I’m increasingly convinced that many (most?) remote teams are having on the wrong kind of meetings (a meetings thread, I guess)

At least this is were I get my confidence from. "Look, I tried the other three options and turns out, they sucked. Maybe try option number 4" 😂

I've heard of at least 3 companies giving shout-outs to employees who missed the birth of their child to take a work call or trip. Missing the most important moments of your life for work isn't a flex, it's just sad. And it's the company's fault for creating that culture.
