Another brilliant night at the theatre. The students were blown away by Matilda!

Another jam-packed day in London. What an experience to visit the Houses of Parliament. Spent time in Trafalgar Square and the National Portrait Gallery then finished the day off with the hilarious The Comedy About a Bank Robbery!

All packed up and on our way home after some retail therapy in Covent Garden this morning. What a fantastic four days of drama, music, art, history and politics 🚍🎭🏛🏙

A huge thank you to all students who have been involved in the musical performances during December. Our vocalists performed at the Blackpool Catholic Schools Advent Service, we had various performances at our Advent Festival and band performances NHS Blackpool Teaching Hospitals 💙🌈 and Westbury!

We've been away for a while after a very busy Autumn term. A very productive term under difficult circumstances. We're proud to have been awarded the Music Mark for high quality music education. Thank you to Blackpool Music Service and Friends of BMS charity for nominating us!

A brilliant achievement from another of our musicians at St Mary's. Grace was the joint winner of the Blackpool Music Service and Friends of BMS charity KS3 Musician of the year competition. Superb work 👏

As part of a project on climate and the environment in RS, students from 7L decided to write to the Prime Minister about their concerns about global warming and the effect it has on the poorest people. We hope to get a response! #CAFOD #ClimateCrisis

NYO Inspire Ensembles!🎶🥁🎺 This half-term, we’re relocating to Blackpool, where hundreds of teenage musicians from all over the UK will come together in their instrument and orchestral family groups to celebrate ensemble music making with their peers. nyo.org.uk/inspire

This half term we have had The National Youth Orchestra at St Mary’s delivering workshops to over 400 young people! Wonderful to see the school full of instruments and our own students taking part. Thank you for choosing St Mary’s! 🎶
