With our little girl going to school for the first time in September, we’re now appreciating the disgrace that is the cost of school uniform! How is it acceptable?

Just caught up with The National Youth Orchestra ‘s prom. Unreal music-making! This is genuinely one of the best renditions of Mahler 1 I’ve heard….and that Dani Howard piece! I’ll be wanting to hear that again and again. #bbcproms BBC Proms bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod…

I can’t hide the smiles for our Music students this morning. 100% 9-5 P8 score of +1.68. They’ve smashed it out of the park. This Head of Music is standing quite a bit taller today.

Starting the new term with two weeks’ paternity leave with our beautiful second-born arriving on Thursday last week. It’s very weird not to be heading back for INSET day. Best wishes for the new year, everyone!

This nonsense needs to stop. If children are not in school, they’re not learning. Presumably those who advocate this will provide curriculum and assessment strategies to illustrate this learning?! We parents need to be responsible.
