#OnThisDay in 1983 President Reagan designated “1983” the “Year of the Bible” in the United States. 📖

Today is #HolocaustRemembranceDay .

Prominently displayed in the @holocaustmuseum are the words from Isaiah 43:10, “You are my witnesses.'

Martin Luther King Jr., civil rights leader, Nobel Prize winner, and Baptist minister, was born #OnThisDay in 1929.

Just over a mile away from the museum, the #MLK memorial in DC displays some of his prolific quotes, including many inspired by the Bible. #BibleImpact
