It’s always great hearing Kyle Dillingham. It’s even better when he is helping promote #RedCarpetCountry.

It was great to hear from Oklahoma’s original tourism advocate, Governor George Nigh #RedCarpetCountry.

I sure do enjoy when my kids get to cook with me.

Today I got to venture out and do programs for students. These programs are significantly different from when we get out to cook. We move beyond the nostalgic and focus on everyday life along the cattle trails.

I had a great time at the Governor’s Arts Awards today. The Oklahoma Arts Council does amazing work. The Oklahoma Museums Association received an award recognizing their fifty years of service to Oklahoma arts and cultural institutions.

That was an interesting earthquake.

I had a great day at the Oklahoma State Capitol for Museum Advocacy Day. Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell is doing a fantastic job promoting Oklahoma and its art and cultural institutions. Hopefully the legislature will finally raise the cap on tourism promotion!

It’s a great day to be at the Oklahoma State Capitol representing Oklahoma’s 500+ museums with the Oklahoma Museums Association. Thanks Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits for organizing a wonderful day!

We had a great day at the Oklahoma State Capitol for Arts and Culture Day with Oklahomans for the Arts and with the Oklahoma Arts Council celebrating the $10 million #arpa investment in arts and cultural institutions across the state. I am excited to announce the Chisholm Trail Museum received a grant!

I love getting to spend time at the Oklahoma State Capitol. We had a great afternoon visiting with legislators with OMA for Hospitality Day. Did you know tourism is the third largest economic driver in the state?

It isn’t very often that you get to see the #Auroraborealis in Oklahoma!
