After four and a half years of storms, I finally handed up my PhD thesis. Thanks so much to all in the SloWaters Ireland group and the support from EPA Research News and Office of Public Works. Very curious about the future of Ireland's streams, fields and #NaturebasedSolutions

Good news. The Arterial Drainage Act has been one of the greatest drivers of impaired hydrological and ecological functioning of Irish rivers. Reform and meaningful change to nationwide channel hydro-morphology will be a big challenge but this is a good step.
