Arizona takes the lead 5-4 in the bottom of the 5th in Chapel Hill.

Simple game.

Arizona had 10 hits in Game 1, but sequencing was all wrong and the Wildcats scored 2 runs. Arizona has 13 hits through 6 innings in Game 2 and, with better sequencing and two-out heroics, has 6 runs.

UNC 0-for-6 (two BB) with 2 outs has a big one here. Runners on 2nd and 3rd for Tyson Bass. Arizona is 6-12 (two BB) with 2 outs and has scored four runs with 2 outs. (h/t Rodd Baxley)

About that: Bass hits a 3-run HR to left field. Tar Heels lead 7-6 in top of 7th.

UNC led 8-6, but Arizona strikes back with two in the bottom of the seventh. Just tied it up on a wild pitch by Walker McDuffie.

After UNC gets four runs in the top of the 7th to take the lead, Arizona gets four in the bottom of the 7th to regain the lead. Arizona 10, UNC 8.

Leadoff single in the 9th for UNC. Now top of the order up w/ Arizona leading 10-8 and looking to force Game 3.

Arizona beats UNC 10-8 to force a winner-take-all Game 3 on Sunday in Chapel Hill. Winner to the CWS. First pitch is scheduled for noon.

Duke beats Murray State 7-4. Blue Devils are one win away from their first Omaha trip since 1961. Kyle Johnson goes 4-for-4 with 5 RBI; Owen Proksch gets the win; Reid Easterly gets the final 9 outs for a save. Blue Devils are 41-19; Game 2 is tomorrow at noon.
