Happy #WomensHistoryMonth! We not only celebrate the amazing women who have led and helped shape our district and city, we work to empower our girls to share their voice and reach their full potential.

Straight from Mr. C: As part of DCPS’s safe return from Winter Break, as stated in the Mayor's press conference, all students and staff will need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test before returning to school on Wednesday, January 5th.

Murch Families (@murchfamilies) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Families may choose to use their own antigen or PCR test option, but tests administered before January 4th will not be accepted. Once you have your results, please upload those (with a photo or pdf of test results) by 4 PM on Tuesday, January 4 to dcps.dc.gov/safereturn

If you have difficulties submitting the results, please call 202-442-5885 and press 1 to be connected to the DCPS Family & Student Tech Call Center.

3rd graders created a banner for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Walk on Monday. They chose the quote, "Be the peace you wish to see in the world" to focus on the walk's theme, End Hate. Each child drew a symbol or wrote a word that represents peace to them. DC Public Schools

Ms. Crabtree's 5th graders also designed a banner for the Peace Walk this past Monday. Their banner represents MLK’s message in our present environment: advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, women’s rights, equal rights, Black Lives Matter, environmentalism & unity.
