The furry fandom has a predominant issue with sexism toward women. It’s frustratingly rare to find merchandise or representation that doesn’t hypersexualize or fetishize us. Too often, it feels like our value in the community is reduced to nothing more than sexual appeal.

Getting attacked in public just for wearing a fursuit is so unbelievably unacceptable. The aggression towards a good friend wearing a suit I made is extremely sickening to see. The fact that some people think attacking someone for fursuiting is warranted needs to be addressed.
